Lunch Program

Please note the fees and lunch policies will be updated over the summer.

2016 - 2017

Esther Starkman School students who choose to stay within the facility for the lunch hour are required to pay a fee for lunch supervision.

Lunch Program Fees

Lunch Program fees are collected to cover the cost of lunchroom supervisors hired to assist with supervision over the lunch hour,  incidentals provided to students.

Please note:

Edmonton Public Schools Board Policy IH.BP states:

Schools shall provide lunch-time supervision at school for elementary and junior high students whose parents request the service and pay the required fees.

In order to calculate the cost of lunch fees accurately, lunch fees will be set by the end of September and September and October fees will be due October 1, 2016.   There will be the opportunity for students to drop in on an occasional basis.  The drop-in fee is $1 per lunch hour.
