NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

  • If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
  • Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2024 (born in 2018) may register in Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Yellow bus service will be available for eligible K-6 students in Terwillegar Southwest attending their designated school. Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is the preferred transportation service for junior high students.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

  • Parents of current Division students will need to pre-enroll their child in SchoolZone to tell us the school they would like their child to attend next year.  For detailed information, click here.
  • Sign in to your parent SchoolZone account between February 1st, 2024 and March 22, 2024 before 4:00pm to select your child’s preferred school for next year.  Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enroll. Knowing how many students to expect helps schools prepare to welcome them in September.

If you have questions about registration, please email us at estherstarkman@epsb.ca or call the office at 780-439-2717.

APPLYING FOR YELLOW BUS SERVICE

  • Whether your child is new to yellow bus service or a current rider, you need to apply for yellow bus service each school year.
  • The deadline to apply for yellow bus service is June 1, 2024 to make sure your child receives service on the first day of school. You can always apply for bus service throughout the year as bus routes change.
  • How TO APPLY
    • STEP 1: Contact your child’s preferred school for information on yellow bus service eligibility
    • STEP 2: Complete the 2024-25 yellow bus service application form (link coming soon) if your child needs service starting in September 2024.
