NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Esther Starkman School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten to Grade 9 in the Regular program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will now only accept resident students in Grade 1 to 9 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Junior High Options

Option/CTF Courses for the 2022-2023 School Year

Next year's Grade 7-9 students are now able to make their option/CTF selections. Please read through the descriptions and fees with your parent/guardian(s), before entering your choices in the Google Form.
All submissions are due Monday, June 27 by 5 PM

For the 2022-2023 year, options/CTF courses are trimestered (except band), however students will pick their options/CTF courses once in June, rather than three times throughout the year.
  • This will allow us to plan for the entire school year and provide more sections of high interest courses and identify courses with less interest.
  • While every possible effort will be made to assign students their top choices, factors such as scheduling conflicts and class-size restrictions will affect course availability
